Hip Hop is back but only online

Pittsburgh: Tom Taylor reported today that former WAMO-FM programmer Ron Atkins has launched a website with urban music, a listener club, contests and weather that's been missing from the Pittsburgh airwaves for about two months. A quick glance at the site shows that "101 The Blaze" is all about Pittsburgh.

I’ve been an avid listener of WAMO since I was twelve,I’m very upset that it got sold to become a religious station.Look on the internet and we have so many religious stations in this area.We need an urban radio station!Long live WAMO and urban radio.Bring hip-hop and R&B,back to Pittsburgh where it belongs. Please reply back!Desperate,Cheryl Ashton
