WESA calls requested for 90.5

Pittsburgh: That's right, part of the $6 million deal for 90.5 FM, Duquesne University keeps the WDUQ callsign leaving Essential Public Media to find their own. EPM has requested WESA - call letters which were once assigned to 98.3 FM when it was still licensed to Charleroi.

Hmm. I wonder who has the jingles?

Just trying to imagine those jingles on the “new” WESA. Aren’t those jingles musical? Seems that music is verboten at the “new” WESA. Only endless rehashing of world and national news is allowed. Grim, indeed!
