'Technoweenie' InformationAbout PBRTV PBRTV began as a tiny subsidiary of DCRTV in October, 1998. It is now just as large as DCRTV and is now only affiliated with its parent website. PBRTV can be reached directly by http://www.pbrtv.com/. A back-up site is provided at Geocities at http://www.geocities.com. Contributions to PBRTV Any contributions to PBRTV are welcome. Most of the comments via email are posted at our mailbag page. While PBRTV would rather you did not use a pseudonym to sign your email, we understand your right to privacy. Therefore, if you do not wish to have your name published in the mailbag, please let us know. Email gets posted online once a day or as necessary. At times however, the PBRTV editor may become tied up with other activities. This sometimes lessens the time available for updating the mailbag. Please be advised that there is no reason to "remail an email" and to be patient for when the email does show up online. Assuming you sent it to the correct address, it is just waiting for a time when it can be posted. Pictures via email are definitely welcome, please send them in the .jpg or .gif format only! 'Snail Mail' Guidelines PBRTV has acquired a Post Office Box as a means of receiving "snail mail" without releasing any personal addresses. The box is a 4x6 box and should be able to fit Compact Discs, 3 1/2 inch floppy disks, audio and video cassettes and Zip Drive disks. We highly recommend using "snail mail" if you have a large contribution of photos for example. 1. If sending any contributions via snail mail, please email notification to PBRTV. For the immediate future, I will send a response with the address information.Email Disclaimer It should be noted that any email published on PBRTV does not necessarily reflect the views of the editor or Pittsburgh radio and TV stations. All email that comes in is purely the opinion of the email sender and PBRTV is not responsible for ANYTHING positive or negative. We reserve the right to edit any emails that for taste and fairness before posting it. Any email containing negative, defamatory remarks toward someone is NOT acceptable and will be trashed.
